So far this year a lot of work has taken place on the trackbed following damage from the replacement of a boundary fence where the heavy-booted workman trod all over the track. This together withthe need to repair section sof trackbed mean that areas of bare grey cement are very noticable..Nature will soon do its work however and the bare cement will tone down. A number of trees have been planted and several that had become too large removed. The line has two 'personas' reflecting my interest in both UK and US narrow gauge lines. The US uses the Ridgeway name. Increasingly large loco acquisitions have created the needto upgrade the bridges and the first has now been completed using a kit I have had in store for several years of a Ffestiniog bridge.
